"Hennesy House Murders" Wraps Principal Photography: "The cameras have stopped rolling, but the echoes of terror still linger in the halls of one of Virginia’s most haunting landmarks. The upcoming horror feature Hennesy House Murders has officially wrapped principal photography at the historic Dunnington Mansion in Farmville, VA.

Produced by Outer Banks-based Rayolight Productions, the film follows the crew of a popular ghost-hunting TV show as they investigate the infamous “Hennesy House,” only to find themselves face-to-face with horrors far beyond their expectations.

The Dunnington Mansion, a once-grand estate now fallen into elegant decay, provided the perfect eerie backdrop for the story. With crumbling corridors, shadow-drenched staircases, and a history that practically breathes through the walls, the mansion became more than a location—it became a character.

Horror genre favorite Jamie Bernadette (I Spit on Your Grave: Déjà Vu, 4/20 Massacre) leads the cast in a performance filled with grit and fear as the crew battles the supernatural. For two intense weeks, filming took place almost entirely overnight, immersing cast and crew in the chilling atmosphere of the mansion."

“We couldn’t have asked for a better setting,” said Director Raymond Wallace. “Dunnington Mansion gave us everything we needed—a great location, with unique architectural features, and that sense of real, lived-in mystery. The footage we captured there is some of the best we’ve ever produced.”

Executive Producer Sam Cortez added, “A large portion of our cast and crew came from the Outer Banks, and it was incredible to bring that talent to such a unique location. There’s something special about combining the history of this place with a fresh, terrifying story.”

While principal filming is complete, a few final scenes are scheduled for filming here on the Outer Banks before the film enters post-production. Rayolight Productions anticipates a local premiere screening of Hennesy House Murders later this year."

ETERNAL INFERNO: "After her ex leaks her nudes and a close friend betrays her, Damiana spirals—until an unexpected encounter in the underground tunnels of Mexico City offers her a seductive path to justice.

But as revenge devours, Damiana transforms from victim to something far more monstrous."

Why Now: "Eternal Inferno is an urgent and relevant story in today’s global landscape. Gender-based violence remains an epidemic, particularly in Mexico City, where justice for victims is rare and impunity is widespread. The film’s themes of trauma, revenge, and transformation reflect the lived reality of countless women who seek justice but find themselves fighting an unjust system.

Beyond Mexico, the film resonates on a larger scale. We see globally how cycles of violence and revenge only lead to further destruction, whether in gender-based crimes or large-scale conflicts such as the ongoing Israel-Hamas war. Infierno Eterno is a cautionary tale—one that asks: How do we break the cycle before we become what we fear most?"

Credits: "Starring Sofia Engberg as Damiana, Americo Hollander as Xavi, Cachorra as Angélica, Catalina Berarducci as Eva and Elsa Gil as Lillith | Written and Directed by Alexandra Velasco | Cinematography by Sophia Stieglitz | Edited by Alexandra Velasco | Original Score by Kris Berle | Stills by Alana Burns | Producers Samantha Castellano, Gongy Gonzalez, Alexandra Velasco | A Dreams Incarnate Production | Shot in CDMX 2024"

Eternal Inferno premiered March 9th at Final Film Girls Festival in Berlin and will be playing other festivals around the world. To keep up with Eternal Inferno and the work of Alexandra Velasco, visit: https://alexandracarlota.com/eternalinferno/
