Watch the Short Film "In A Nutshell": "A miniature artist is commissioned to recreate a gruesome crime scene for the local police departments homicide department, unknowingly opening the doors for an evil entity."

Director's Statement: "I've always been fascinated by the idea that objects—trinkets, possessions, forgotten relics, can act as vessels between worlds. That something as innocent as a keepsake might harbor a presence, a memory, or an energy so strong it can bridge the gap between the mundane and the malevolent. I wanted to explore what happens when someone unknowingly opens that door. Through meticulous recreations of brutal crime scenes, becomes an unintentional conduit for something much darker. These crime scenes weren’t just remnants of violence, they were rituals, each leaving behind a symbolic key used by a cult to summon something evil.

This is my invitation for the audience to quickly witness the unraveling, the moment when obsession crosses into invocation, and the line between craft and curse disappears."

MONSTER FORGE RADIO DEBUTS WITH “THE HORROR ETERNAL” — A TERRIFYING NEW PODCAST CREATED BY ROY BURDINE: "Monster Forge Productions proudly announces the spine-chilling debut of its new audio storytelling label, Monster Forge Radio, with its first original release: The Horror Eternal — a hair-raising weekly podcast created by acclaimed EMMY winning animation director Roy Burdine (GrimsburgStillwaterShe-Ra and the Princesses of PowerUltimate Spider-ManThe Adventures of Puss in Boots).

Merging cinematic sound design with psychological horror, The Horror Eternal blends serialized storytelling and standalone nightmares that will haunt listeners long after the final scream fades.

At its core is the gripping serial We Are Not Dead, following an unnamed narrator plagued by mysterious text messages from the future. As bizarre, alien-like entities appear across the globe—motionless, silent, watching—the line between past and future begins to crumble, unleashing horrors beyond comprehension.

Every fourth week, the podcast shifts gears with a standalone tale, delivering fresh terrors in tightly packed doses of dread:

  • The Blackcast – A sinister podcast awakens primal, uncontrollable urges in its listeners.
  • The Missing Touch – A man discovers his touch makes people vanish — and he can't stop.
  • Bone of My Bone – A rage-fueled virus tears through the female half of humanity, sparking an apocalyptic reckoning.

“I wanted to make something that feels like a nightmare you’re awake for,” says creator Roy Burdine. “A horror story that stays with you and twists the way you see the world.”

The Horror Eternal is the first of many original nightmares to come from Monster Forge, a transmedia entertainment company known for its decades of experience crafting monsters across film, comics, animation, books, toys, and beyond."

Listen to The Horror Eternal now on Spotify, Apple Podcasts, Amazon Music, and wherever nightmares are streamed.
New episodes drop weekly — SUBSCRIBE, and remember: the terror never ends.
