Evil Things Premiere on TLC: Press Release: "(Silver Spring, Md.) – Friday night frights return to TLC in time for Halloween with the second season of KINDRED SPIRITS, following renowned ghost hunters Amy Bruni and Adam Berry as they help real people tormented by paranormal activity in their homes. Scared by the mysterious happenings, but hesitant to pick up and leave, they have turned to two of America’s leading paranormal investigators to capture evidence, help families overcome their fear, take back their homes, and reclaim their lives. Then, TLC premieres the paranormal newcomer EVIL THINGS, where it’s not haunted houses but the objects inside them that are the terrifying focus of this new series. KINDRED SPIRITS premieres on Friday, September 15 at 9/8c immediately followed by EVIL THINGS at 10/9c.

In the season premiere of KINDRED SPIRITS, Amy and Adam investigate one of the most infamous haunted homes in America: the Lizzie Borden House in Fall River, Mass. What was once a private residence-turned-murder scene is now a museum and B&B, where many paranormal teams have confirmed that the ghosts of the home’s original occupants still linger. Amy and Adam launch into one of their most harrowing investigations yet, but not to find the Borden family ghosts. Their unique goal is to help Sue, a tour guide, who believes her grandparents’ spirits are in the house trying to protect her from impending tragedy. Amy and Adam, aided by psychic Chip Coffey, ultimately call upon the ghosts of the Bordens to help them uncover the truth. Do they get more than they bargained for?

Each episode of EVIL THINGS features two stories of people who claim they’ve survived frightening paranormal activity caused by a haunted object ranging from toys to jewelry and even furniture. Anything can become a vessel for the dead. Based on compelling first-person accounts, each twisted mystery exposes the sinister secrets hiding within seemingly innocent items… some of which could be sitting in your own home right now.

The premiere of EVIL THINGS recounts two stories. First, the joy Kara gets from her boyfriend's unexpected Christmas gift turns to terror during a camping trip with friends. When she hears strange crying and terrifying screams in the woods away from the campsite, Kara is convinced that the new camcorder she received is a paranormal portal to a brutal kidnapping and double murder committed by its previous owner. Then, married life and work fall dangerously off-balance soon after Justin inherits his estranged father's only possession: a gold pocket watch. He's soon plagued by violent blackouts that put everyone he cares about in danger but provides the missing clue as to why his dad abandoned him years earlier.

Join the conversation on social media with #KindredSpirits and #EvilThings, and catch up on season 1 of KINDRED SPIRITS at TLC.com/KindredSpirits.

For TLC, KINDRED SPIRITS is produced by Paper Route Productions and EVIL THINGS is produced by Painless Productions.”

Anti Matter Q&A: "Writer-director Keir Burrow’s critically acclaimed sci-fi masterpiece “Anti Matter” hits theaters and VOD this September from Uncork’d Entertainment.

Yaiza Figueroa plays Ana, an Oxford Ph.D. student that finds herself unable to build new memories following an experiment to generate and travel through a wormhole. The story follows her increasingly desperate efforts to understand what happened and to find out who – or what – is behind the rising horror in her life.

Congrats on the film’s success overseas. Did you expect such accolades and positive reviews?

Yaiza Figueroa: Thanks! I was hoping people understood and appreciated our hard work but didn't imagine this was going to be the reaction. It feels amazing to hear such good, positive feedback. We worked hard for it.

When did you know the movie was something special?

Yaiza Figueroa: From the minute I had to read the script a hundred times to understand it. Anti Matter touches so many themes and conflicts. This could be happening right now and the questions it leaves with. The fact that it puts in perspective both Science and Religion gives me goosebumps.

It’s a real mesh of genres, isn’t it?

Yaiza Figueroa: Yes. I describe it as a sci-fi horror with a touch of Drama.

And the source material is Alice in Wonderland!? Was that evident in the script?

Yaiza Figueroa: Good question! I didn’t identify the reference at first until I visited Oxford and read about Lewis Caroll and the origin of Alice in Wonderland story. Is a good comparison.

What did Keir Burrows bring to the movie as a filmmaker?

Yaiza Figueroa: Everything. Keir is the type of Director that knows what he wants. He works with passion on every department. Everything about the film is well thought. He is always prepared and writes very profound challenging multidimensional films.I believe he will have amazing things and opportunities coming his way after this. I am very lucky to have him as a mentor, he’s giving me the courage and the confidence to believe in my craft. Oh Jesus! wait till he reads this.

The movie is getting a theatrical release through Uncork’d in September. Is it important to you that people get to see this movie on the big screen?

Yaiza Figueroa: Yes! Of course! It’s what we were hoping would happen whilst we were filming. Look… you work so hard for a year to just hope or pray that people get to see it but having the opportunity to watch your work on the big screen is literally a dream come true.

“Anti Matter” in select theaters and VOD September 8."

Images Revealed from The Domicile: "Director Jared Cohn (Devil's Domain) and Producer Gabriel Campisi (The Horde) invite you to The Domicile this August.

Russel Brody, a one-time successful playwright, works diligently on a follow-up play that could land him back in the spotlight he so dearly craves. With a baby on the way, however, and a strained marriage, stress, and frustration take center stage. When his wife accidentally stumbles down the stairs and dies from her injuries, Brody's mental state goes from bad to one of utter despair. In a bid to help his friend regain his sanity, Brody's co-writer David Stanley suggests he revisits Lucy, his former mistress. The ghost of Brody's dead wife awakens to the sordid details of his unfaithfulness, enraging her supernatural spirit to haunt him in every horrifying way imaginable. At first, Brody thinks he's hallucinating and hearing things in his head, the result of his state of mind and alcohol. But as things intensify, his grip on sanity quickly slips away, and he starts to go mad. Appearing in every shadow, and provoking him relentlessly, the ghost cranks up her onslaught, making his life a living hell. Brody reaches his breaking point when the ghost possesses his former mistress, and he's forced to confront the scorned entity -- resulting in a climax of both psychological and physical terror.

Starring Steve Richard Harris (Evil Nanny), Demetrius Stear (Death Pool), Katherine Flannery (Zombie Pizza) and Sara Malakul Lane (King Arthur and the Knights of the Round Table), The Domicile from MTI Home Video, hitting DVD and VOD August 22."

Tamika hails from North Beach, Maryland, a tiny town inches from the Chesapeake Bay.She knew she wanted to be an actor after reciting a soliloquy by Sojourner Truth in front of her entire fifth grade class.
