Today, the LA-based artist unleashed “How To Be A Serial Killer,” the climactic single in her horror-driven Twisted Frames series:

Produced by Matt McJunkins (A Perfect Circle) at Secret Hand Studios, 'How To Be A Serial Killer' fuses raw industrial textures with nu-metal energy to create a visceral listening experience. Staytus once again blends cinematic influence with personal catharsis, delivering a track that’s as confrontational as it is revealing."
Staytus describes the track as a metaphor for what happens when emotional pain is buried too deep for too long:
“How To Be A Serial Killer is me unmasking my inner chaos. It’s intense, unfiltered, and a little terrifying—just like the film. This song is a metaphor for what happens when pain is left to rot in silence. It’s about the darkest thoughts we never dare to speak, turned into a performance of catharsis. I wanted this final track in the Twisted Frames series to leave a scar.”
Following today's single release, the How To Be A Serial Killer music video will be released on June 12, visually complementing the song’s mood, and "maintaining the atmospheric and intimate aesthetic of the Twisted Frames series."
