Back in September, Legendary revealed that Tom Hiddleston (demigod Loki in the Thor films and The Avengers) will play the lead role in the upcoming Kong: Skull Island, and now another name has been attached to the cast. J.K. Simmons (Sam Raimi's Spider-Man trilogy, Juno, and most recently Whiplash) is set to co-star in the film that will bring the king of the apes back to the big screen.
Deadline reports that J.K. Simmons is set to co-star alongside Tom Hiddleston in Kong: Skull Island, a Legendary film that Universal Pictures recently re-scheduled to come out in 3D and IMAX 3D on March 10th, 2017. Jordan Vogt-Roberts (The Kings of Summer) will direct off a screenplay by John Gatins (Flight) and Max Borenstein (2014's Godzilla).
