As we reach the brink of winter, this is your last chance to get out for some late season camping. You know how it goes, smoke a little dope, have a little premarital sex, and get slaughtered! That’s right, kids, it’s time for a trip to Crystal Lake for the movie that tried to say a second goodbye to everyone’s favorite machete-wielding killer with Jason Goes to Hell: The Final Friday. Join us this Wednesday November 19th at 8pm Eastern as we gather around the (Twitch) campfire!

As many of you have heard me complain about in the past, Jason Goes to Hell was perhaps the first movie that disappointed a child-aged Bryan due to shattered expectations (why does this Jason Voorhees movie not have any Jason Voorhees in it??). But over the years I’ve grown to appreciate its weirdness, from a bizarre homoerotic shaving ritual to strong indications that Jason is somehow connected to the Evil Dead universe.  So pop in your copy at home and join us at DailyDeadTwitch! Hope to see you there, campers!

About the Author - Bryan Christopher

Horror movies have been a part of Bryan’s life as far back as he can remember. While families were watching E.T. and going to Disneyland, Bryan and his mom were watching Nightmare on Elm Street and he was dragging his dad to go to the local haunted hayride.

He loves everything about the horror community, particularly his fellow fans. He’s just as happy listening to someone talk about their favorite horror flick as he is watching his own, which include Hellraiser, Phantasm, Stir of Echoes, and just about every Friday the 13th movie ever made, which the exception of part VIII because that movie is terrible.
