Movie theater employees in a conservative small town look forward to unwinding every Friday night when they watch a movie after hours, but they get more than they bargained for when they watch a film that unleashes a sex demon in the new movie Porno. Following the horror comedy's world premiere at SXSW (check here to watch a clip from the film), we've been provided with an exclusive track from the film's score to share with Daily Dead readers.

Composed by Carla Patullo and titled "Don't Lose Your Edge//You Wicked Demon," the exclusive track can be listened to below, and here's what Patullo had to say about the making of the track:

"Don't Lose Your Edge//You Wicked Demon is a track that I made by combining two cues. One cue happens in the basement of the movie theater which is filled with an otherworldly energy. There's a Succubus in the movie, but she is not actually in this scene, but my vocals hint at her presence nearby, lurking somewhere else in the theater. The second cue was composed for the scene that Keola Racela and I worked on at the Sundance Film Music and Sound Design Lab, and the Succubus is very much in this scene! At the lab, I had the opportunity to record with live woodwind and string musicians at Skywalker Sound and work with sound designer Mac Smith there. This cue really laid the groundwork for the rest of the score. We were able to experiment with vocals and develop a tone for the Succubus, which I kept exploring after the lab. Nailing the power, the horror, and the seduction that the Succubus embodies was probably the best part of writing the score. Her energy is so killer, it made writing the music a lot of fun, and there ended up being so many different vocal languages (like lingering 'ahhs,' ghostly breathing, dripping cries, howls, distorted screams and so many more) that I could layer and layer in order to capture her sound."

Directed by Keola Racela from a screenplay by Matt Black and Laurence Vannicelli, Porno stars Evan Daves, Larry Saperstein, Jillian Mueller, Glenn Stott, Robbie Tann, Bill Phillips, Katelyn Pearce, and Peter Reznikoff.

Synopsis: "Abe is a burgeoning perv with a guilty conscience. Todd is Abe’s spazzed out BFF and partner in grime. Chaz is a girl with a boy’s name who hides her feelings behind a thick layer of goth eyeliner. Ricky is the star jock with a secret in his pants he dare not expose. What these uptight dweebs could never have guessed is that the wholesome movie theater they work at used to have a lot more than just gum stuck to the seats. When a remnant of the theater’s porno past surfaces, the kids are visited by a sex demon that gives them a taste of the dark side."
