Yesterday, the one and only Adam Riske (from F This Movie!) sent me a link to this music video, and I sit here now, as I write this post, forever changed, and I felt like this was something that must be shared and celebrated here on Daily Dead.

So, let me go ahead and set the stage for you all: what you’re about to witness is what would happen if a soulful rock band that feels plucked right out of the late ’70s/early ’80s paid tribute to one of the more under-appreciated horror/sci-fi films of the late ’90s by way of song.

That is the mind-blowing awesomeness that is .357 Lover’s "Event Horizon," and there’s an incredible music video that perfectly encapsulates their deep lyrical appreciation of Paul W.S. Anderson’s hellish decent into madness set aboard a haunted spaceship. As someone who has been a longtime fan of Event Horizon, this put a huge smile on my face, and I hope it brings a smile to yours as well.
