The Human Centipede 3 was supposed to have gone into production last year, but was delayed due to a legal issue between actor Dieter Laser and director Tom Six. The dispute has been resolved, shooting is expected to begin in May, and there are new details on what to expect from the upcoming movie.

EW spoke with Tom Six who confirmed that Laser will not be playing the same character he did in The Human Centipede. Instead, Laser and Laurence R. Harvey (The Human Centiped 2) are said to be playing "a villainous duo with a storyline no one will expect.” Other details that were revealed include the mention that “a big American celebrity” will appear in the film and that they are still moving forward with plans to put together a 500-person human centipede.

The story is set in the US, with production taking place Stateside in May. Here's what Tom Six had to say about The Human Centipede 3 moving forward and settling his dispute with Laser: “I know my Human Centipede 3 will be very politically incorrect, but I didn’t want to change anything in the script... I am very happy Dieter will follow my vision for a full 100% now and know he is absolutely the most brilliant actor I could wish for.”
