For a while now, Warner Bros. and Leonardo DiCaprio’s production company, Appian Way, have been working on a feature film based on The Twilight Zone. At one point, Cloverfield and Let Me In's Matt Reeves was on board, but now it's being reported that a new director is in talks to join the project.

Heat Vision revealed that Joseph Kosinski (Oblivion, Tron Legacy) is in negotiations to direct The Twilight Zone. Although a number of writers have worked on the script previously, it's been said that the "project is being redeveloped" for Kosinski, with no additional details.

Previously, we've been told that the movie would be a single story instead of an anthology. While it was not going to be a remake of any specific episode, it was said that the movie would touch on several themes from the original TV series. We don't know if any of this will change with Kosinski joining the project, but we'll be sure to post an update when more details become available.
