With the release of the new Ghostbusters film less than five months away, fans can expect to see ectoplasm-themed products on store shelves soon, as Key Lime Slime Twinkies and the return of the Ecto Cooler were recently teased online.

First released in 1987 as Hi-C's tie-in beverage with The Real Ghostbusters animated series, the Ecto Cooler's comeback was teased in a product sample photo that surfaced online (see below), and Ghostbusters director Paul Feig confirmed that the Ecto Cooler will be available ahead of the new film's July 15th release.

Hostess also looks to be embracing the paranormal, as their Key Lime Slime Twinkies were unveiled on Twitter. Instead of containing white cream filling, the limited edition Key Lime Slime Twinkies will feature a green cream interior.

It's not yet known when these products will be released, but we'll keep Daily Dead readers updated on further details. In the meantime, we have photos of both items below. Will you be adding them to your shopping cart?

Directed and co-written (with Katie Dippold) by Paul Feig, the new Ghostbusters movie stars Melissa McCarthy, Kate McKinnon, Kristen Wiig, Leslie Jones, and Chris Hemsworth.

Original Ghostbusters stars Ernie Hudson, Bill Murray, Dan Aykroyd, Annie Potts, and Sigourney Weaver are all set to appear in the new film, with Andy Garcia, Matt Walsh, Michael Kenneth Williams, and Cecily Strong also along for the ride. Ghostbusters hits theaters on July 15th from Sony Pictures.
