"Your fingerprints were on the weapon. So was the child's blood. Who was it, Dulce?" "It was the house." Dark Sky Films recently announced a November release for The House at the End of Time, Alejandro Hidalgo's feature debut that played at the 2014 Fantasia Film Festival, and a new trailer has been released that shows a mother and her children facing the hammering horrors of their haunted house.
“Thirty years ago, young mother Dulce (Ruddy Rodriguez, The Living Daylights) was accused of murdering her husband and two children in their home. Despite her pleas that a malevolent force in the house was responsible for the killings, Dulce was sentenced to the maximum penalty of imprisonment. Now, as part of her sentence, Dulce is sent back to her old home and the scene of the crime under house arrest, where she’s forced to confront the horrifying memory of what happened there. But this time around she’s determined to unravel the mystery that has haunted her so for long, and with the help of a local priest, give both her loved ones and her own spirits their much-needed peace. Filled with suspense from beginning to end, THE HOUSE AT THE END OF TIME is a gripping thriller about the demons that follow us and the power we have to vanquish them. The top-grossing Venezuelan theatrical release of 2013, Alejandro Hidalgo’s debut feature was nominated for Best Film at Fantasporto 2014 and was an Official Selection at the 2014 Fantasia Film Festival.”
