This Thursday, the Winchester brothers get animated when they're sucked into the frightening fun realm of Scooby-Doo, Where Are You?Before worlds collide, The CW released a new video that goes behind the scenes of the making of "Scoobynatural," so, like, grab some Scooby Snacks and gather around the screen for an inside look at one of Supernatural's most anticipated episodes yet!
The Supernatural / Scooby-Doo crossover episode follows the Winchester brothers as they are transported into the "A Night of Fright Is No Delight" episode of Scooby-Doo, Where Are You!
Originally aired in 1970, this Scooby-Doo episode will feature a new monster that Scooby-Doo super fan Dean (Jensen Ackles) and his brother Sam (Jared Padalecki) will have to go up against. The original episode included spooky green ghosts, so there's a chance that the Winchester brothers will encounter a phantasmal force via the animated realm.
The "Scoobynatural" episode will air on Thursday, March 29th at 8:00pm EST on The CW. Until then, you can get an idea of what to expect in the new behind-the-scenes video below.
"Scoobynatural" synopsis: "JINKIES! “SUPERNATURAL” GETS ANIMATED WHEN SAM, DEAN AND CASTIEL ARE TRANSPORTED INTO THE WORLD OF SCOOBY DOO – Sam (Jared Padalecki), Dean (Jensen Ackles) and Castiel (Misha Collins) are transported into the animated world of Scooby Doo where they join forces with the Scooby gang to solve a ghostly mystery. Robert Singer directed the episode written by Jim Krieg & Jeremy Adams."
