2011/04/21 16:14:12 +00:00 | Jonathan James

A couple of days ago, it was reported that director John Luessenhop (Takers) may be directing the upcoming Leatherface 3DBloody Disgusting is also reporting that Kirsten Elms has been brought in to "re-tool the script under the guidance Luessenhop".

We knew last year that Adam Marcus and Debra Sullivan were working on the screenplay which is supposed to be a sequel to the original Tobe Hooper film, but flashing forward 30+ years. Twisted Pictures picked up the rights to develop new films in The Texas Chainsaw Massacre series a couple of years back, but things have been pretty quite up until now. There is no information on how the script will be changing and we probably won't know too much more until the new director is officially confirmed.
