We avoid posting much of the Ghostbusters 3 talk, because most of it is non-news. While it seemed like Ghostbusters 3 was picking up steam last year, Bill Murray's lack of interest reportedly stopped it from moving forward. It has been said that he had problems with the script and Sony has hired a new writer to give it another try.

According to Variety, Etan Cohen is the man who was hired for the job. He has plenty of comedy writing work, having recently wrapped up Men in Black 3 and he also worked on Tropic Thunder, Idocracy, and King of the Hill. Cohen is also set to direct Boy Scouts vs Zombies for Paramount in the near future.

Lee Eisenberg and Gene Stupnitsky (The Office) were previously hired to work on the script and it is unknown if Cohen will be using any of their work as a starting point. It is assumed that the story will include most, if not all, of the original cast members, along with some fresh faces.
