Lionsgate is having a terrible time trying to get the film adaptation of Pride and Prejudice and Zombies off the ground. There have been numerous directors swirling around the project after the previous director left, and we can now add Mike White to the list of people off the project.

While it had been officially announced late last year that he would be directing, a scheduling conflict has forced Mike White to pull out of the project. Lionsgate is reported to be rushing out to look for new directors, and as this is a big property and project for them, I expect we'll have another director announcement shortly.
