Oren Peli, the creator of Paranormal Activity, had written a post-apocalyptic horror script and has been searching for someone to direct the project. Variety is reporting that commercial and Let Me In's 2nd unit director Brad Parker has been hired to direct the film.
Not too much is known about the project, but we do have a brief plot synopsis that was previously released: "A group of friends become stranded in an eerie and desolate city. Years before in the aftermath of a nuclear disaster, nature has begun to reclaim everything. As the sun sets on this radioactive ghost town, inhuman cries cut through the night air. It seems they are not alone."
