Gentle Giant surprised collectors at Comic-Con by having an early look at The Walking Dead statues based on characters from the TV series. We stopped by their booth and took photos of the upcoming statues that include Daryl, Merle, and Michonne.

There is no word on pricing or availability at this time. As you can tell from Daryl's poncho, these are mixed media statues, so fabric will be used for some of the clothing. The size appears to be around 1:4, but we'll have all of the specifications when they are officially available for pre-order. Looking at other offerings from the company, we expect this to be the first three in a long line of statues based on the TV series. We also wouldn't be surprised to see a number of hero walkers thrown into the mix.

All three statues seen below are pending approval, so there may be some changes made between now and when they become officially available. We'll let readers know as soon as more details become available. Gentle Giant has been on a roll with Walking Dead collectibles recently, announcing a number of mini-busts and prop replicas.
