Last week, we reported that Mike White (School of Rock, Year of the Dog) had been offered the director's chair for the film adaptation of Pride and Prejudice and Zombies after David O. Russell left the project. It has now been reported that Mike White has officially accepted the offer.

While Scarlett Johansson and Bradley Cooper were previously rumored to be up for lead roles, a new director on board and new shooting schedule means that things could change. We'll be keeping an eye out for casting news and a release date.
