Not every child can say that they're friends with the Lord of Hell, but that's exactly what Scarlett Estevez's character Trixie has accomplished on the FOX series Lucifer. Helping the former ruler of the underworld find humanity on the Earthly plane, Trixie has been an intriguing character throughout the first three seasons of Lucifer, and Daily Dead recently caught up with the actress in our latest Q&A feature to discuss working with Tom Ellis and Lesley-Ann Brandt, playing the daughter of Detective Chloe Decker, and her interest in directing one day.

What do you enjoy most about playing Trixie on Lucifer?

Scarlett Estevez: It's really fun to get to pretend to be someone else for a while, and Trixie has a really cool personality.

Trixie and Lucifer have a lot of fun together in the show. Can you tell us about your experience working with Tom Ellis?

Scarlett Estevez: Tom is AWESOME! He has daughters, so he is really good with kids. Lucifer doesn't really enjoy being around Trixie, but I would say in real life he's happy when I'm around.

There are a lot of great scenes with Trixie and Mazikeen, because Mazikeen doesn't really understand humans, but you can tell that she really cares for Trixie. Can you talk about working with Lesley-Ann Brandt on the show?

Scarlett Estevez: Lesley-Ann is the best. We have a really great relationship off set. We’ve gotten together on days we aren't filming a couple times, and I really love being around her.

Do you have a favorite episode or scene from the past three seasons?

Scarlett Estevez: My favorite episode from the past three seasons would have to be the Halloween episode. I loved trying on all the different costume options, especially the helmets.

When the cameras aren't rolling, what do you do for fun on set?

Scarlett Estevez: I love riding my bike on set, and Aimee’s amazing dance lessons.

The Lucifer TV show has so many fans. Do you have fun interacting with fans online and/or in person?

Scarlett Estevez: I love meeting fans. It's so nice to get messages or meet people who like what I'm doing on the show.

Aside from Lucifer, can you tell us about your upcoming projects?

Scarlett Estevez: I have some projects in the development stage, but can't really talk about them yet. Hopefully soon.

Aside from acting, are there any other areas of filmmaking that you enjoy? As you continue in your acting career, what types of projects or roles interest you?

Scarlett Estevez: I really hope to be able to direct one day. I've had some really great directors that have inspired me to want to be like them, like Tara Weyr (Lucifer) and Sean Anders (Daddy’s Home).

It would be fun to get to be in an action movie one day, where I could do stunts! I would love to do a scary movie where I could see how that all works or a project that was mainly focused on kids.
