In 2003 he took us into the demented home of the Firefly clan, then took that family on a wild road trip two years later. He reimagined Michael Myers in 2007 and then really gave the slasher his own spin in 2009, the same year he showed us an animated film that wasn't afraid to "go there." And in his last film he allowed us to peer through hell's doorway.
Now, Rob Zombie's next horror film is being teased, and we have a teaser video that both reflects on the writer/director's past and takes a peek at his mysterious upcoming movie.
We recently reported that writer/director Rob Zombie had put his hockey movie Broad Street Bullies on the back burner to focus on a horror movie in the vein of The Devil's Rejects. Now a teaser trailer has been released that sheds a little light on this mysterious project. Titled 31, Zombie's next project is teased at the very end of the trailer. The title is coupled with a creepy clown mask that probably factors into the movie's unknown synopsis.
Zombie confirmed on his Twitter account that 31 is his next movie, and when asked by a fan on his Facebook account if 31 is a prequel, Zombie replied that it is not. There are no release, casting, or story details on 31 at this time, but we'll keep Daily Dead readers posted on further news as this story develops.
