Now that we know who makes up American Horror Story: Freak Show‘s main cast, we’re starting to hear more about the new characters. It was recently revealed that the new killer would be a clown, and with a story involving a traveling freak show, there was no doubt that other characters would make a memorable impression. Actress Sarah Paulson confirmed this notion today, revealing that she'll play two characters in the upcoming fourth season.

Paulson, who has acted in every season of American Horror Story, announced on Twitter today that she's playing two characters—Bette and Dot—in her role as a carny with two heads:

"So excited to be playing Bette AND Dot this season. Two heads are better than one! #AHSFREAKSHOW"

The cast of Ryan Murphy’s American Horror Story: Freak Show includes Kathy Bates, Sarah Paulson, Evan Peters, Angela Bassett, Frances Conroy, Michael Chiklis, Denis O’Hare, and Emma Roberts. Jessica Lange was the first announced cast member and it has been said that Season 4 will be her last.

American Horror Story: Freak Show is set in 1950′s Jupiter, Florida, where Jessica Lange manages one of the last freak shows in the US and her performers include most of the main cast mentioned above. American Horror Story: Freak Show will include thirteen episodes and is expected to premiere in October. Look for more details to surface in the coming weeks (Ryan Murphy has hinted that there will be a unique version of the bearded lady, so we could soon find out who will play that role).
