Saw 3D Traumatizes Children

Moviegoers sitting down for Megamind at Showcase Cinemas in Massachusetts were accidentally shown Saw 3D. While the movie only played for a few minutes before being taken off, at least one child in the audience sneaked a peek:

"“He came and slept with us and we thought we had gotten past that years ago. He said that he had a few nightmares,” said Dolph Rau, an upset father. “Again, all that I would like to see come out of this is that its not going to happen again.”

The children were given one free ticket as a result of the mix up, but the Rau family’s 7-year-old son told them that he does not want to see a movie again for a very long time."

Obviously, this was an unfortunate mistake and shouldn't happen to begin with, but I'd hope the parents would be able to tell the difference between Megamind and Saw 3D. It wouldn't be too difficult to tell their children to look away or leave until the mistake was corrected.
