The campy horror-comedy review show chronicles the devilish stories of both Scream and Cry while discussing the very best in horror from the Magnolia Pictures catalog alongside a revolving cast of characters including Juliet Landau, Thom Pinto, Bill Prokopow and Donte Paris. The films being reviewed in the first season include Agnes, Alone, Amulet, Censor, Held, Kiss of the Damned, Severance, Splinter, The Canyon, The Sacrament, Tucker and Dale Vs. Evil and V/H/S: Viral."

With the first episodes of Scream and Cry Horror Movie Review now available on Magnolia Selects and Monsters & Nightmares platforms, we have a promo clip featuring Rick Baker. He also caught up with us for a brief Q&A, teasing his plans for this year's Halloween, as well as talking about his favorite Halloween traditions:

Any hints at what you have planned for Halloween this year?

Rick Baker: Beginning this [past] weekend, I will post a photo a day on my Instagram of each of the different characters I am doing for this year’s Halloween.

Can you share your family’s Halloween traditions?

Rick Baker: Ever since my daughters were born, on Halloween I would make them up.  They would go to school in full makeup, and when they got older, continue the tradition going to work in Halloween makeup.  When they were kids, on Halloween night, we would walk the neighborhood trick-or-treating, now that they are older, we give out candy in makeup or masks to the trick or treaters.

Do you have a favorite Halloween candy?

Rick Baker: When I was a child trick-or-treating in my neighborhood, the neighbors would usually just get a little jawbreaker or hard candy that I wasn’t that fond of.  I do like peanut butter cups now though.

What are your favorite go-to horror movies that you watch throughout the Halloween season?

Rick Baker: “Frankenstein”, “Bride of Frankenstein”, “Son of Frankenstein”, “Abbott and Costello meet Frankenstein”.
