Sideshow Collectibles is running a month-long event as part of their Comic-Con promotional plans. During the month of July, they will reveal dozens of new products, including plenty of horror/sci-fi items. In the past they've released some pretty great life-size Alien products, including a Xenomorph bust from both Alien and Aliens.

Today they revealed a life-size Alien Egg prop replica. The item is selling for $499 and is about 2 feet tall. The only downside to this product is that it is a prop replica from Alien vs. Predator and not Alien or Aliens, but it's still a great collectible for Alien fans. If you'd like to see this for yourself, we've included a couple of preview images.
