Sideshow has been releasing quite a bit of superhero collectibles lately, but they're always working on cool new products and have revealed an upcoming premium format figure based on Snake Plissken from Escape from New York:

"Sideshow Collectibles is proud to announce our very first Escape from New York Sixth Scale Figure – Snake Plissken! Outfitted with his eyepatch, arsenal of weapons, and a whole lot of attitude, he’s the cult movie icon you’ll want for your collection! Let the countdown to Pre-Order Snake Plissken on Thursday, October 24th, 2013 begin….now!"

A price has not been announced for the figure, but we're assuming it will be around $399 based on what some of their other premium format figures sell for. We'll have more photos and details next week, so check back if you're interested in picking this up. Fans of Snake also won't want to miss out on two new Escape from New York shirt designs from Fright Rags. They will be available for pre-order later this month and we've included more details on that release in the gallery below.
