Sienna Guillory, who played Jill Valentine in previous Resident Evil films, posted a twitter update last week and announced her involvement in the upcoming Resident Evil movie:

"RE:5 alert! Training begins! I aim to mostly put less in the big hole on the front of my face than comes out of the little one on my arse."

The new Resident Evil will obviously pick up where the last one left off, as there was no definite conclusion to the storyline from the last four films. No additional cast members have been confirmed, but it is a good bet that most of the surviving characters from the last film will return in some capacity. The new film will be shot in 3D and released on September 14th, 2012. [Thanks BD]
