After all the buzz surrounding its festival run, horror fans around the world can now experience The Quiet Room for themselves, thanks to Crypt TV. Directed by Sam Wineman (who will write and direct Shudder's upcoming documentary on the history of queer horror cinema), the short is available on Facebook and YouTube, and we've included an embed below for those that want to watch it right now!

Here's the official press release:

"THE QUIET ROOM, director Sam Wineman’s 25 minute horror short that took the festival world by storm, made its full length internet debut today on Crypt TV’s Facebook and YouTube channels.

The Quiet Room, starring Alaska Thunderfuck 5000, Katya Zamolodchikova, and Jamal Douglas, offers a fresh take on mental health, diversity, and queer relationships and has already aired at FilmOut, Outfest Fusion, Wicked Queer, Crypticon Seattle, and Nevermore Film Festival, where it won Best Narrative Short. In total during its festival run the film won 17 awards, including Best Director, Best Screenplay, Best Actor, and 10 wins in Best Film categories.

Crypt TV, the genre brand dubbed ‘Marvel for Monsters’, has over 14 million fans across social media and will be airing the short on both its Facebook pages (Facebook.com/CryptTV) & YouTube channel (YouTube.com/CryptTV). In addition to the full length premiere, Wineman will be doing a special Q&A on Crypt TV’s Instagram (Instagram.com/CryptTV) to talk about exploring the monster within and answering questions from Crypt fans in celebration of #PrideMonth. On top of his directorial and writing pursuits, Wineman also co-hosts the QUEERWOLF podcast present by Blumhouse.

“Crypt is so proud to present The Quiet Room on our channel and give our audience the fresh perspective and scares they crave. The film is unlike anything we've posted before. We strive to shed light on our darkest fears while representing a diverse reflection of our audience on screen and create an inclusive community for all who wish to participate in the conversation, and we're very excited by the opportunity The Quiet Room gives us to live this message,” Alyssa Onofreo Crypt TV’s director of social and audience development said.

"Crypt is thrilled to showcase The Quiet Room to our audience. Sam is an incredibly talented filmmaker and Crypt is privileged to be able to give a platform for his passion to tell important stories,” Jack Davis Crypt TV’s CEO & co-founder said.

“I'm really excited that The Quiet Room is airing on CryptTV because their fans aren't just spectators - they are a smart and active community. And something I love about this film is the way it brings together communities - both horror and LGBTQ. When I met with CryptTV, they made it clear to me that they stand by how important it is to bring diverse voices to their platform and reach fans who have been asking for exactly this kind of content. I couldn't be more excited to team up on this.” – Sam Wineman

This week it was announced Wineman will be directing a documentary about the history of queer horror on film for SHUDDER, the streaming horror service. THE QUIET ROOM will also be airing on SHUDDER in the coming weeks."
