The Raven has a Release Date

2011/05/03 21:54:51 +00:00 | Jonathan James

In January, Relativity Media announced that they had acquired James McTeigue’s The Raven. This film is a fictional piece, in which Edgar Allan Poe tracks a serial killer and stars John Cusack, Brendan Gleeson, Luke Evans and Alice Eve. For those looking forward to seeing this movie in the near future, you'll have to wait until next year.

According to Deadline, Relativity has set a release date of March 9, 2012 and also plans to change the film's title. There are plenty of projects titled The Raven, including some that are currently in production, so this is probably being done to avoid confusion. Right now, the film is simply being referred to as the Untitled Raven Project, but we'll post an update as soon as the new title is announced.
