Featuring one of the most unsettling endings I've seen in quite some time, undertone got under my skin with a relentlessly eerie atmosphere and a sinister sound design that made for an immersive cinematic experience I won't soon forget.
With undertone haunting theaters this Friday, March 13th via A24, Daily Dead had the pleasure of catching up with writer/director Ian Tuason and stars Nina Kiri and Adam DiMarco to discuss their nerve-shredding new horror film, including exploring the morbid side of children's nursery rhymes, reflecting the stress (and guilt) of being a caregiver for a loved one, and utilizing voices and sounds to tell a compelling horror story that is best experienced on the big screen.
