To this day, one of my favorite theatergoing experiences was watching the harrowing film Z with a packed audience at the 2019 Popcorn Frights Film Festival, so I'm always excited when a new Brandon Christensen movie is released, and his latest film, Bodycam, is brimming with found footage frights that linger long after the end credits roll.
Centered on two police officers who face supernatural repercussions after attempting to cover up a deadly shooting, Bodycam will be streaming on Shudder beginning Friday, March 13th, and Daily Dead had the chance to catch up with Brandon in a new video interview to discuss the surprising film that initially spawned the idea for Bodycam, teaming up with his brother Ryan to write the screenplay, and working with the film's stars Jaime M. Callica and Sean Rogerson (who played Lance Preston in the amazing found footage film Grave Encounters).
You can watch our full video interview with Brandon Christensen below, and in case you missed it, be sure to read Matt Donato's review of Bodycam!
Synopsis: When two police officers show up to investigate a domestic dispute, a startling escalation leads to a tragic accident. Not wanting to be crucified by the public, the officers attempt to cover it up - only to reveal that their body cameras aren't the only things watching them.
