Today is the day, dear readers! Ti West’s latest horror movie X is officially in theaters everywhere courtesy of A24, and to get you all ready for the carnal carnage, we have a video interview featuring Ti West for you to check out. In the film, a group of aspiring talents hit the road together as they set out to make an adult movie but end up in a fight for their lives when the elderly couple they are renting their shooting space from aren’t quite as kindly as they seem. Written and directed by West, X stars Mia Goth, Brittany Snow, Martin Henderson, Jenna Ortega, Scott Mescudi, and Owen Campbell.
During our brief chat with the filmmaker, West discussed continually mixing things up in his career and challenging himself after taking a break from the horror genre for the last few years. Ti also chatted about collaborating with his cast and what they all brought to the table in an effort to create the amazing characters at the center of X.

Heather A. Wixson was born and raised in the Chicago suburbs, until she followed her dreams and moved to Los Angeles in 2009. A 14-year veteran in the world of horror entertainment journalism, Wixson fell in love with genre films at a very early age, and has spent more than a decade as a writer and supporter of preserving the history of horror and science fiction cinema.
