It looks like Warner Bros has acquired the rights to Blood Wars, a story that is described as a "radical reinvention of vampire mythology". According to The Wrap, Blood Wars will be based off a story from Chad St. John and Blacklight Transmedia, in which vampires rule the world:

"In the Warner Bros. version of the story, vampires have control of the world and humans are their slaves. But humans infiltrate the vampire army and plan a rebellion."

Dalan Musson is writing the script, but there is no other information at this time related to the production of the film. When we first heard the synopsis, the first thing that popped in our minds was the scrapped idea for Blade 3 that was going to take place in a future that was controlled by vampires. Daybreakers also recently tackled this idea, so we'll be interested in hearing about elements of this story that made it unique enough for Warner Bros to pick up.
