Warner Bros. has announced that it will be releasing Westworld on Blu-ray next year. The 1973 sci-fi was directed and written by Michael Crichton, and starred Richard Benjamin, James Brolin, Alan Oppenheimer, Dick Van Patten, and Yul Brynner. At this time, all we know is that the Blu-ray will be available on March 5th, as no technical or bonus feature details have been announced.

You can take a look at the cover art below, and we've also included the synopsis and trailer for those that have not seen the movie:

"Welcome to West World, Crichton's futuristic Disneyland for adults, a remote resort island where, for a hefty fee, you can indulge in your wildest fantasies in one of three convincing robot-run worlds: lusty Roman World, chivalrous Medieval World or lawless West World. It's in West World that things run amok, though, as businessmen John Blane (Brolin) and Peter Martin (Benjamin) face a murderous robot gunslinger (Brynner), among other dangers."
