For those of you who got into zombies because of The Walking Dead or Zack Snyder's Dawn of the Dead, and haven't caught up on the earlier movies, you owe it to yourself to check out some of the classics, especially the original Dawn of the Dead.

Aside from meeting up with George A. Romero, one of the big reasons we went out to Flashback Weekend last week was to catch the Dawn of the Dead reunion panel with David Emge, Ken Foree, Scott Reiniger, and Gaylen Ross. We knew that Daily Dead readers would be interested in checking it out, so we recorded the panel and Q&A session.

This was really a great panel for anyone who's a fan of Dawn of the Dead. Ken Foree talks about "illegally" joining the cast, David Emge shares his experience preparing for a certain scene at the end of the movie, Scott Reiniger gave his thoughts on the remake, and Gaylen Ross talks about the alternate ending that was filmed.

We want to give a big thanks to the team at Flashback Weekend for allowing us to cover this event for our readers. We'll have another portion of our exclusive interview with George A. Romero later today and we have another panel video that will go live tomorrow.
