Heather was a big fan of Overlord after having seen the movie at Fantastic Fest, so this is already on my radar to catch on opening night. That said, if you're still on the fence about it and want to see more, Paramount has released their latest (and final trailer) for the upcoming World War II-set horror movie.
Overlord was directed by Julius Avery and stars Jovan Adepo, Wyatt Russell, Pilou Asbæk, John Magaro, and Mathilde Ollivier. The screenplay was written by Billy Ray and Mark L. Smith, based on a story by Billy Ray. Executive producers include Jo Burn, Jon Cohen and Cory Bennett Lewis, and the movie was produced by J.J. Abrams & Lindsey Weber.
"On the eve of D-Day, American paratroopers are dropped behind enemy lines to carry out a mission crucial to the invasion’s success. But as they approach their target, they begin to realize there is more going on in this Nazi-occupied village than a simple military operation. They find themselves fighting against supernatural forces, part of a Nazi experiment."
Overlord will be released to theaters on November 9th and it will be getting an IMAX release as well.
