We Say Goodbye to Ouija

Unfortunately, it looks like we'll be saying goodbye to the upcoming Ouija movie here on Daily Dead.

This film is being released by Universal Pictures and Platinum Dunes, and while it was expected that this would be a horror movie, its writers recently revealed that it will be closer in tone to Indiana Jones than anything:

"AX: Will OUIJA be scary like THE RING?

HOROWITZ: No. It’s INDIANA JONES – that kind of tone. It’s a big adventure movie.

KITSES: That’s what we like."

While this could still turn out to be a great movie, it being an adventure movie probably excludes it from regular coverage on Daily Dead, but we'll keep an eye on Ouija developments just in case.
