It’s astounding to think about how Zach Cregger went from funnyman to magma-hot horror filmmaker, but here we are. His second film, Weapons, is only days from release. There’s not much to be said about what to expect, because like BarbarianWeapons is a twisted tale of intertwining stories that ends with a bang. What is that bang, and is it the best for your buck? I’m not answering the first question, but I can give an emphatic “yes” to number two.

I had the pleasure of sitting down with Cregger to briefly chat about Weapons as part of the film’s press junket. We also had the chance to speak with actors Josh Brolin, Julia Garner, and Alden Ehrenreich, who all participate in Cregger’s latest nightmare. We talked about terrifying children, the fears of parenthood, and a host of other topics without giving anything spoiler-y away. You’re good to watch our interviews and still have the best Weapons experience.
