Man of Steel may have divided critics and comic book fans, but that didn't stop people from rushing into theaters to see the movie. Man of Steel set a new June record for biggest opening weekend and earned $113 million, not including $12 million from Thursday preview screenings. Internationally, the film is performing very well too, and Warner Bros. has already hired Zack Snyder and David Goyer to work on the sequel.

This Is The End's opening weekend may not seem big compared to some of the bigger films in the top ten, but for a R-rated genre comedy with a modest budget, it's been pretty successful. The movie had a production budget of $32 million and earned an estimated $32.8 million since opening on Wednesday. The Purge is still doing well for Universal and Blumhouse productions. The movie added another $8.2 million to its total over the weekend and now sits at $51.8 million. As we reported recently, a sequel is already in development.

Next week's big releases include Monsters University and World War Z. Man of Steel's second weekend take should still be significant, so we're interested to see what movie ends up on top. Here are the top ten results for this weekend:

1. Man of Steel $113,080,000
2. This Is The End $20,500,000
3. Now You See Me $10,320,000
4. Fast & Furious 6 $9,433,000
5. The Purge $8,201,000
6. The Internship $7,000,000
7. Epic $6,000,000
8. Star Trek Into Darkness $5,660,000
9. After Earth $3,750,000
10. Iron Man 3 $2,908,000
