Weekend Box Office Update

Transformers: Dark of the Moon easily won the weekend and broke the 4th of July holiday record, earning $97.4 million. Since its limited opening on Tuesday, Dark of the Moon has earned $116 million domestically.

Larry Crowne opened this weekend to a disappointing $13 million, despite Tom Hanks and Julia Roberts starring.

Next week's big releases are Zookeeper and Horrible Bosses, along with a limited release of John Carpenter's The Ward. Here are the top 10 movies for this weekend:
