World War Z to Shoot in June?

While a story popped up last week that the adaptation of World War Z was in trouble, Deadline is now reporting that Paramount is close to securing financing partners for the $125 million dollar zombie epic. If the deal goes through, we could reportedly see World War Z start shooting in June. Based on the novel by Max Brooks, Brad Pitt is attached to star in World War Z and Marc Forster (Quantum of Solace) is planning to direct.

There is no word on the previously reported rumor that the director has agreed to deliver a PG-13 cut of the film. It wouldn't surprise me one bit if Paramount is looking at PG-13 for a large budget zombie movie that they consider risky, but who really wants to see a PG-13 zombie movie?
