Last week, fans of Z Nation were reminded that anything can happen in the apocalypse, as a "zombienado" tore through the countryside and landed the living dead right at the feet of survivors. The cast and crew of Z Nation will be at Walker Stalker Con: Atlanta this weekend to discuss the storm-centric episode and the rest of the season, joining fellow living dead TV series The Walking Dead at the event.

"October 15, 2014 – Atlanta, GA – This year’s Walker Stalker zombie convention in Atlanta will play host to Syfy’s Z Nation, TV’s newest zombie series. Creators Karl Schaefer and Craig Engler as well as stars Michael Welch (“Mack”) and Keith Allan (“Murphy”), will appear on a panel on Sunday, October 19 at 3:00 pm in the main panel room.

Engler, Schaefer, Allan, and Welch will discuss everything about the show from A to Zombie: inception, creative process, location filming, and what it’s like to be the “other” zombie show on TV. They’ll also dissect the most recent episode, “Resurrection Z,” which Engler wrote.

Z Nation launched as Syfy’s highest-rated acquired scripted series premiere since Dr. Who in 2006 and was the network’s most social acquisition ever. The pilot, “Puppies and Kittens,” won the 10pm timeslot for Syfy, outperforming AMC’s Turn and Halt and Catch Fire as well as TNT’s Legends, WGNA’s Salem, and Outlander on Starz. The second episode drew more viewers than the first in both the US and Canada (where it airs on Space), and the show continues to draw high viewerships and young-skewing audiences.

Z Nation airs Friday nights at 10pm on Syfy. Starring Tom Everett Scott (SOUTHLAND, THAT THING YOU DO!), DJ Qualls (LOST, SMALLVILLE), Kellita Smith (THE BERNIE MAC SHOW), and Michael Welch (TWILIGHT SERIES). Created by Karl Schaefer (EUREKA, EERIE INDIANA) and Craig Engler.
