Since Zombieland introduced the double tap survival rule in 2009, many fans have been hungry for a sequel, and with Zombieland 2: Double Tap finally arriving this fall, a new poster for the film has now been revealed.

Unveiled on the sequel's official Twitter page, the new poster can be viewed below. With an October 18th release date, Zombieland 2: Double Tap will come out from Sony a little over 10 years after the release of the first film.

In the sequel, Emma Stone (Wichita), Woody Harrelson (Tallahassee), Jesse Eisenberg (Columbus) and Abigail Breslin (Little Rock) are all reprising their roles as the motley crew of zombie apocalypse survivors from the first movie.

In addition to reuniting the cast in front of the camera, key creative forces are also coming back behind the camera as well, including Zombieland director Ruben Fleischer (Venom), who once again directs from a script written by Paul Wernick and Rhett Reese (Deadpool). Gavin Polone is also returning as a producer, with Lauren Abrahams supervising the sequel.

As previously revealed by The H0llywood Reporter, the Zombieland sequel follows "the quartet from the White House to the American heartland as they face off against new kinds of zombies that have evolved since the first movie, as well as some new human survivors. But, most of all, according to the studio, they have to face the growing pains of their own snarky, makeshift family."

In addition to the return of familiar faces, the cast of the sequel will also include new characters played by Rosario Dawson, Luke Wilson, Thomas Middleditch, Zoey Deutch, and Avan Jogia.
