The cast of the upcoming Carrie remake continues to fill out and there is a report of two new actresses that are joining the project. Judy Greer (The Village) is up for the role of the gym teacher, while Ivana Baquero (Pan's Labyrinth) is in talks to play a "sexy bad girl" named Chris, according to a report from Bloody Disgusting.

Chloe Moretz was the first to sign on and will be playing the new Carrie White. Julianne Moore recently came on board to play her mother. Gabriella Wilde is taking on the role of Sue Snell, one of the popular girls at school who convinces her boyfriend to take Carrie to the prom. Ansel Elgort will play Sue's boyfriend and Alex Russell (Chronicle) signed on for the role of a school bully.

Carrie will be directed by Kimberly Peirce and has an official release date of March 15, 2013. In terms of what we can expect from the story, it has previously been reported that this version of Carrie will more closely follow Stephen King’s original book than the 1976 movie from Brian De Palma.
