They've provided horror fans around the world with many memorable monsters and scary scenes, and now Joe Dante and Roger Corman are receiving two well-deserved nights of tribute to their storied histories behind the camera. Composed of a double bill screening and an art gallery of props and artwork from their films, "KINGS OF CULT: A Tribute to Roger Corman and Joe Dante" will commemorate the accomplishments of these two legendary directors.

We are proud and honored to present this pop-art tribute to these two legendary directors and TFH Gurus. The artwork will pay tribute to their careers in unique and interesting ways, shedding new light on old favorites.

This tribute will begin with a double feature at The New Beverly Cinema of Joe Dante’s Matinee (1993) and Roger Corman’s The Masque of the Red Death (1964) on May 23rd at 7:30pm. Joe Dante and Roger Corman will be in attendance for a Q&A hosted by Dana Gould in between the films.

The events will continue the next night at Hero Complex Gallery for the opening of the Kings of Cult exhibit on Saturday May 24th at 7pm. Joe Dante and Roger Corman will be in attendance. Original props from their classic films will be on exhibit as well.

Some of the artwork that will be displayed at the Hero Complex Gallery is already being teased online. Eye-catching poster artwork for various Dante and Corman films like Gremlins 2: The New Batch, Piranha, Innerspace, and The Raven by artists such as Chris Garofalo, Matt Ferguson, Patrick Connan, and Francesco Francavilla will be on display at the gallery.
