She took on the Demogorgon from the Upside Down in Stranger Things, and now Millie Bobby Brown is set to be in the midst of an even larger creature in the Godzilla sequel.

According to THR, Brown has signed on for a role in the sequel to Gareth Edwards' Godzilla, which is now referred to as Godzilla: King of the Monsters. Brown's role in the movie is not yet known, and no other cast members have been announced yet, but we'll keep Daily Dead readers updated as more details are revealed.

A Legendary film scheduled for a March 22nd, 2019 release from Warner Bros., Godzilla: King of the Monsters will be directed by Michael Dougherty (Trick ’r Treat and Krampus) from a screenplay he is writing with Zach Shields.

The Godzilla sequel is included in the new King Kong cinematic universe (which reignites soon with the March 10th release of Kong: Skull Island), and the two monsters are slated to shake the big screen when Godzilla vs. Kong hits theaters on May 29th, 2020.

Millie Bobby Brown will reprise her fan favorite role as Eleven in season 2 of Stranger Things later this year. The Godzilla sequel marks her first feature film role, and it will surely be quite the stage for the talented performer to show her incredible range.
