Roland Emmerich's new Stargate movie, a remake of his own 1994 film of the same name, has set its sights on a pair of writers. Meanwhile, Oculus director Mike Flanagan's upcoming film Somnia now has a release date, and Vampirella fans have a new comic book to look forward to, including a cover drawn exclusively for Box of Dread subscribers.

Stargate Reboot: According to The Hollywood Reporter, Nicolas Wright and James A. Woods are set to scribe Roland Emmerich's upcoming Stargate reboot, the first in a projected trilogy that Emmerich will direct with Dean Devlin producing the projects.
