Evil Eye- Featuring The Girl Who Knew Too Much (Kino Lorber, Blu-ray & DVD)

While vacationing in Italy, a young woman with a passion for crime fiction (Letícia Román) witnesses a brutal murder. With the help of a handsome young doctor (John Saxon), she launches her own investigation and uncovers a series of crimes known as the Alphabet Murders, only to realize that she may be next on the killer's list. This Kino Classics edition includes both the original Italian-language version (The Girl Who Knew Too Much) as well as the American cut (Evil Eye, featuring a score by Les Baxter and alternate footage). The last of Bava's features to be shot in black-and-white, Evil Eye is considered one of the earliest Gialli, and opened the door for Bava to indulge in a more violent and provocative flavor of films.

Special Features: Evil Eye (the AIP American release English language version) mastered in HD from the original 35mm negative, The Girl Who Knew Too Much (the alternate European cut), in Italian with optional English subtitles, Audio commentary by Tim Lucas, author of Mario Bava: All the Colors of the Dark, and Original theatrical trailers.

Stigmata (Scream Factory, Blu-ray)

A lost soul has just received the wounds of Christ... and a shocking message that will alter history. Stunning performances from Patricia Arquette (TV’s Medium, True Romance) and Gabriel Byrne (The Usual Suspects) and a cutting-edge score by Billy Corgan of The Smashing Pumpkins and Elia Cmiral make Stigmata "a visual and visceral feast", (Entertainment Today)!

Frankie Paige (Arquette) has absolutely no faith in God. All of that changes when she suddenly begins to suffer the stigmata: the living wounds of the crucified Christ. Frankie’s miraculous bleeding comes to the attention of the Vatican’s top investigator, Father Kiernan (Byrne). But when Cardinal Houseman (Jonathan Pryce, Brazil, Ronin), discovers that Frankie is actually channeling an extraordinary and provocative message that could destroy the Church, he’s convinced that she (and the force possessing her) must be forever silenced. Determined to stop this deadly conspiracy, Kiernan risks his faith and his life to save her and the message that will change the destiny of mankind forever. Also starring Portia de Rossi (TV’s Arrested Development), Nia Long (Big Momma’s House) and Rade Sherbedgia (Taken 2, X-Men: First Class), Stigmata is a riveting supernatural thriller that’ll leave you breathless.

Special Features include Audio Commentary With Director Rupert Wainwright, Incredible But True – Stigmata: Marked For Life (45 Mins.), Divine Rights: The Story Of Stigmata (26 Mins.), Music Video – “Identify” By Natalie Imbruglia, Deleted Scenes, Alternate Ending and Theatrical Trailer.

Zombeavers (Freestyle, DVD)

They're ferocious, they're furry, they're ZOMBEAVERS, the stars of this 2015 horror-comedy, directed by Jordan Rubin. When a trio of sexy college girls (Cortney Palm, Rachel Melvin, Lexi Atkins) arrive at a remote cabin for a weekend getaway, their vacation is quickly jeopardized by a hungry bear, a menacing hunter (Rex Linn), and the girls own party-crashing boyfriends (Hutch Dano, Jake Weary, Peter Gilroy). However, these preliminary disturbances are nothing compared to what lurks in the lake by the cabin: The result of a local chemical spill, a horde of bloodthirsty, zombified beavers closes in on the unsuspecting co-eds. It isn't long before the kids are engaged in a life and death struggle with the ferocious ZOMBEAVERS, but it turns out that the creatures themselves are only the beginning of their nightmare. Featuring cameos by Bill Burr and John Mayer, Zombeavers is infectiously funny and terrifying. Zombeavers. They'll dam you to hell!
