Vincent Ward is one of The Walking Dead Season 3's new cast members and plays Oscar on the show. He'll be hosting an event this Friday in Atlanta and we have all the details. We're also giving away passes to a handful of lucky Daily Dead readers who are interested in attending.

"Vincent Ward, actor of television’s creepiest show, The Walking Dead (based on the comic book series) will host a Private Meet & Greet Reception Friday, Nov. 9, 7p.m.-9p.m. at the Hudson Grille Midtown, Top Floor, 855 Peachtree St, Atlanta.

Vincent’s special appearance, organized by Savvy Affairs, will be in support of the Combined Federal Campaign (CFC), an employee-driven federal program, which collectively raises funds from local events held throughout the year in benefit of approved charity organizations.

A federal tradition since the early 1960’s, event organizers elected for a program built around the fanaticism surrounding The Walking Dead series and actor Vincent Ward due to the immense popularity of the show. The Walking Dead has received many nominations, including a Writers Guild of America Award nomination and the Golden Globe Award nomination for Best Television Drama. The Walking Dead debuted to 10.9 million viewers in Season Three, the most-watched basic cable drama telecast in history according to Entertainment Weekly.

Based on the plot of a sheriff awakened from a deep coma into a world dominated by flesh-eating "walkers," resembling zombies from classic George A. Romero's horror movies, The Walking Dead chronicles the desperate odyssey of the sheriff to locate his family, and horrifying encounters with other survivors along the way.

Fans, federal employees, supporters and members of the community –by invite only-- will have opportunity to meet Vincent Ward, while enjoying live performances by Young Voices United (Thriller), Femme Fatale Dance Crew, a ‘one of a kind’ fashion show by Amy Cooper of MsLadyCouture, show-based trivia moderated by media personality Thia Nixon, photos and autographs from the acclaimed actor."
