Though his long-standing stint as Barney Stinson on CBS' How I Met Your Mother has ended, Neil Patrick Harris' excursion into other TV realms is just beginning, and American Horror Story: Freak Show fans may be excited by the news that Harris and his husband, fellow actor David Burtka, will guest star on Ryan Murphy's horror anthology show later this season.
TVLine reports that Harris will guest star in the 11th and 12th episodes of FX's American Horror Story: Freak Show, while Burtka will appear in the season finale. Harris will play a "chameleon salesman", with Burtka set to partake in a storyline involving Jessica Lange's Elsa Mars.
